I got my BHSII years ago, but then worked for years grooming/riding and never pursued any teaching work.
I no longer work with horses, but recently a couple of friends have asked me for help with their jumping.
I do not intend to charge for lessons at this stage as I would just be helping friends out, however, I am concerned about what may happen if they have an accident.
I need to renew my First Aid Certificate as it has expired, and then also make sure I have appropriate insurance in place.
Please could someone advise about insurance for Freelance Instructors? What do I need, and who from?

Thanks in advance.

Seeing as your BHS qualified and are planning on doing a 1st Aid Course anyway, you'll find getting insurance through the Register of Instructors is the cheapest way. :)
