Hey guys
I don;t know if this is the right place to post my question(s) but it's under vet.

I am currently still in school.
And next year I take my work experience that then goes towards my career and I want to be an equine vet when I leave school.

The thing is I don;t know what to do for work experience, that will look good on my CV when I leave school.

I have 1 option to fall back on, if anything goes wrong, I can go to a race park (haydock) and do stable management there.

But for my career as a vet, can anyone point me in a direction?

Thanks
/Nick

If you want to be a vet look at what the universities require. A few ask for dairy farm and vet surgery experience. Abattoirs are also good to go to if you can for a couple of days.

Ring up your local vets and ask if you can shadow them for a week, they should be able to provide you with contacts to work on farms if you don't have your own.
