advice please

went to sort my boy out this morning and he hadnt eaten last nights tea. he had obviously realised i had put his wormer in it. i added more garlic to it to try to overpower the smell of the wormer but it didnt work.he has always eaten it b4 please any advice dont really wanna pay another £20 for more

SYringing?? Ha ha! Try doing that with Saff....she lets me squirt the stuff in then stands refusing to swallow for as long as it takes for me to give up watching her...as long as 15-20minutes...then SPITS IT OUT!!! Even though she is greedy, she knows better than to accept an apple or a mint as it will thwart her 'no-swallow-then-spit strategy! She gets powdered stuff now and I mix it into grated apple and carrot. She'll get wise to that soon, I guess .. in fact, I am going to try VermX liquid next....

I would just syringe it if i were you, much easier, mine would never eat it in a feed. Just make sure to hold up their head til they swallow so they dont spit it back out.

hi im a friend of mossychops and mossy wont have it syringed though ??? any other advice as she stated it is in the feed is there anything she can add to it to make him eat it she has put more garlic in to try and hide it lol but he aint having any of it and i know she doesn't want to fork out another £20 on wormer . god fussy horses hey lol
