What to feed an extremely poor doer (has been known to loose weight in the summer) tb who cribs! And also goes a bit loopy on certain feed!

Any help, as she is currently demolishing any piece of wood in the stable/field!

:D

I think more info is needed on what is currently being fed and which feeds are not suitable, adlib haylage would be the obvious with good daily turnout, several small high fibre feeds each day and supplements to settle the digestion.
Have you had a scope done in case of ulcers?

She may not be cribbing becuase she is hungry - although obviously you need to keep weight on too. Cribbing is a response to stress. Do you know what is upsetting her? if you were able to ease her anxiety she might stop cribbing - and also put on weight.

Put up what she is being fed. Having adlib access to good quolity forage is a big help and really cut downtime cribbing of one of my previous horses but if you post her current regime then other posters can make suggestions.
