I would be grateful for any advice please. I haven't hacked the boy for a while, but my OH has been , so Finn is hacked out about 3 times a week and schooled/lesson on the other days. Now when he gets tired or is finding something quite dufficult he will start to snatch at the reins. Well I took him in the school to have a walk as I waiting for a friend, we left the school and he started snatching almost straight away. It was a real pain in the arse and he never been that bad. We were only in walk the whole time. I then took him back in the school and he was overbending to the left and really didn't want to bend to the right. He didn't snatch as much. He has been shod today and my lovely farrier said he thought Finn was a bit stiff. Teeth done a couple of months ago. Back looked at 5 weeks ago and she is coming back next week. Saddle just been re-done and she is coming back in 4 weeks. He is ridden in NS snaffle and elevator bridle.
Cookies and a large glass of red if you got this far

blimey, I dont know, you seem to have covered all bases! Mum's horse used to do this for a bit, we checked everything and decided it was behavioural in the end, and at some point he stoppd doing it. It does sound like discomfort doesnt it though??
