Have an 11 yr old border collie bitch who is getting a bit stiff in her joints. Anyone got any recommendations on what I could give her that works??

She is normally as mad as a hatter and tends to forget her age, then the following day is a bit stiff.

Thanks.

Am actually a bit worried about her today. Yesterday she was her usual self and we were clipping sheep in the afternoon, so she was in her element.....

However this morning I noticed she had not eaten her supper last night, and she was sleeping a lot this morning. Then my hubby phoned at lunchtime to say she is not even eating a bit of beef.........which for her is unheard of......so I am thinking I may have to call the vet and she just hates them......

I would get her checked out by the vet...to rule out any pain her joints maybe causing, metacam and synaquin are very good perscription meds for this condition.....but green lyped muscles are a good natural joint aid.

Yes I fed my old collie NZ green lipped muscles for some time and they really helped my old girl. She doesn't appear to need them anymore as she is quite mobile now.
