Henry is done with Advocate once a month - just wondering, can he be done a bit more frequently if circumstances call for it? We were house and dog sitting this weekend, and one of the other doglets has been known to pick up the odd passenger... I don't think he had any, but of course I am now paranoid about it:o It's a week before Henry's due to be dosed again, but just wondering if I could bring that forward...

I have hot washed all the bedding he used, and as I say I'm pretty sure there were no little extras present on any of the dogs (which are very well cared for and much loved, and live in a lovely house with lovely people in case anyone gets the wrong idea:)) But I'm getting psychosomatic itches!:o:o

The advocate gets into his bloodstream, so there shouldn't be any benefit to doing it early, but I doubt it will harm him. Why not just give him a bath ? that would kill any fleas he may have picked up. It's what I do if either of mine catch a bunny.

He fell in the river yesterday:rolleyes: trying to flush a phessie off a very steep bank:rolleyes::rolleyes:, there was a lot of clattering then a large splash! Hopefully that will have helped;):D:p

Sorry, serious again - he's due a bath on Thursday anyway as we are off a-visiting this weekend, I'm loath to do him before then as he'll end up stinky again! I have also clipped him and didn't see any. Thank you for putting my mind at rest re the Advocate, hopefully it will have protected him:)

I know from a very recent vet visit that you can not overdose on Advocate - so you could well put it on every day if you fancied, you would just be costing yourself a fortune.

Definitely every two weeks would be absolutely fine, or bringing it forward a few days/weeks. xxx
