aerborn coolsport boots, which size?

About to buy a pair of these online and wondered which size I should get.

I have a 16.1hh ISH who doesn't have huge amounts of bone, yet hasn't the legs of a spindly tb. In N.E.W boots he's a medium as a size guide.

Has anyone got a pair who can advise me whether they come up big or small? On the aerborn website it just says s, m or l which isn't very helpful.

I would say medium. My carthorse has large ones and they're plenty big on him.

Well my 15.1hh mare has large ones...you just pull the velcro tighter! I like them large so they go right over the legs.

I originally got the med ones for my 16.2 wb (not esp big boned but quite long between knee & fetlock) as this size was recommended, I did however find them a little tight esp round the fetlock area and they did come up quite short.....so I also got a large pair! (well doesn't hurt to have spares!!) which do fit better. As Mel85 says, they do go higher up which I prefer and you just pull the velcro a little tighter.

Prob not much help but just thought I'd throw another opinion into the pot

I have large as well for a 16.1 TBx

The nature of the boots means they are fine if they are a bit big.

Thanks for the advice. I ended up getting the large ones. They are a bit on the big size, but like a lot of you have said at least they cover the whole leg.
