Affiliated Riding clubs near London

Hi all, I have recently moved to North London, and struggling to find my way around the world of horses around here, so thought i would ask you guys for help!

I want to join a RC this way, but am struggling to find one around London, they all seem tojust hire horses for the day, i want to be in one that does all the area competitions and such like!

so any recommendations happily received!

Whereabouts in London? Area 9 covered some of north west London but has just been amalgamated into area 6 as far as I know? We have a couple of London based members as we are probably the closest club to west London being based Slough/Maidenhead area.

Do you have your own horse or not and where about are you in north london?

I am a member of chalfont heights and they do the team competitions but i think need your own horse or access to one to do them.

Harrow and District have horses you can hire but their competitions are mainly internal I don't think they take the hired horses off site but I might be wrong.

I am in North Finchley, but quite happy to travel! i own my own horse, i was after a fairly competitive club with good training and that has fun!

i think north mimms might be the nearest to you but i don't know anything about them i am afraid.
