Gorgeous , but oh, how quick they grow.

I love seeing Afghans at shows, and I admire those who have show dogs that requires regular grooming, but personally, I have long since realised that it suits me best to own a breed, that in general at the most needs a few quick strokes with a brush or comb before going to a show.

Oh I love afghans. Such regal looking dogs. Quite a handful to own I understand though. Looking forward to seeing pics when that stunning coat is fully developed.

I have always dreamed of owning an afghan and a borzoi.

It will remain a dream though. By the time I have nothing else to monopolise my day but dogs I will be to old to cope with either.

Thanks for the lovely replies! This I my first "coated" dog so still very much learning as im going along!

Pug is my Delilah, poor little girl had an op a couple of weeks ago to remove a lump on her leg andshe also had 7 teeth removed and a dental "MOT"! She seems much happier now though, poor old girl!

Poor Amy Meerkat

She is very affectionate butnot overly cuddly, she doesn't tend to stay still long enough to have a cuddle!!

And yes, I did have a foal from Una - AVA! She is now 15 months old

Oh Lordy, yes, I remember the stallion being a knabstrupper, must have seen this at some point. I'm such a numpty!! She's beautiful, you must be delighted! She's very tall!
