My boys had lameness in his front foot/leg on and off for a couple of months now and after bolting out of his stable slight lameness and swelling in his hind.
He spend today at the vets being lunged, trotted up and x-rayed and they can't find anything wrong!
He has very flat feet which need attention and the vet feels that this is what is making him lame on our stoney ground at home. And he needs some physio on his back.
I had awful visions of him having bad ringbone or something so I'm very happy he's ok and can start being worked again :)

I'm so glad that there's nothing sinister going on. :)

RE flat soles, my mare is growing much tighter hoof capsules since I swapped to molasses-free feed. I'm really hoping that when all the older hoof walls have grown out that she will have more concave soles.
