This is the photo of my 15yr old 16hh TBxID mare that shocked me into realising how much condition she had lost over the winter.
I immediately started feeding her Bailey's No 4 almost exactly a fortnight ago with lots of commendations from here.
This is her this morning - an amazing improvement I think
And when the sun comes out
As you can see she still has some weight to gain but I can definitely see an improvement in a very short space of time coupled with the fact that the grass is bound to start growing soon (fingers crossed), I think we are on the right track.
The introduction of Bailey's No 4 is the only change in the last fortnight and I thoroughly recomend it.
