I toddled off to the field to see my two...
My mare was fine (porky cob) , my little companion pony ...came off the moor..never been fussed over...was shivering :(

Ill let him off because he is about 30 :)
He had his fast fibre and chaff soup tea which he wolfed down, had his little rug on and he stopped shivering.
Strange because it's mild here ... guess when you get that old you cant keep yourself warm so well :D

This was definately a proper shiver :)

Feel a bit like its my fault, I gave him a bath when it was really warm the other day and probably washed away all his waterproofness he had :(

Its probably about the same! Im only down the road in Plymouth :)
Its been quite windy too which is maybe what made him feel it a bit.

Cruel mummy indeed, I thought I was doing him a favour giving him a bath :D
Although the state he was in when he came to me...a bit of shivering is probably nothing for him :(

There is always the exception to the rule, us oldies feel the slightest drop in temperature, cos it's mild here just now I'm on top of the quilt covered by a light fleece, Oh is covered by a heavy feather quilt and sleeps sound, I would toss and turn with that weighy
