James was on 10 days rest after a 45 min session with an equestrian osteopath we know for a couple of "deplaced" vertebrae near his shoulders. It's amazing how a (600kg) horse will let an experienced (65kg) osteopath manipulate and twist them in all directions - fascinating to watch!
2 weeks after the treatment I rode him again this weekend, and he certainly has perked up and is standing better on his feet. It must have been troubling him and causing some pain the poor thing, but he looks much better and proud now
Managed to gently hack out with him twice during the weekend assisted by the uncommonly mild weather, +10°C higher then normal, but I think that's going to change and winter will start later next week. Shame for the primroses which have already come out !!!
