The four pups are still here, please do not let it be known but I am really enjoying them most of the time.

This afternoon I had them out on the lawn, they were chasing each other with bits of what was once a Balaclava as the target.

I decided to drag some of the weed off the large pond. I have the end of a large rake tied to a good length of electric rope. I throw the rake out into the water and drag it back with, hopefully, a load of weed entangled.

Pups were playing and I was throwing. My GSD got into the water and was splashing around belly deep barking as I threw the rake. The Lab was swimming to where the rake had sunk trying to retrieve it. On the bank were three terriers, the Border took to trying to fetch the rake with the Lab.

All was going well if rather noisily. The GSD was doing her very best scream the terriers were barking. Of course, all this drew the interest of the pups.

First they were knee deep in the water then Rascal started swimming with the Lab. Raindrop was trying to stand on the blanket of weed and ended up swimming.
The noise was phenomenal, I was trying to throw the rake without hitting anything other than the water, this was difficult as nine times out of ten either something was standing on the rope or the two younger pups were running off with it.

Weed pulled to the side was being 'killed' by all dogs. They then found the joy of cray fish. The terriers have learned the art of grabbing them across the back, the hounds haven't.
Foxhound pups scream a lot even if they are not hurt, get one with a crayfish hanging off its nose then the screams are a totally different tune.
Pup running around the pond screaming, two others giving chase and the terriers, thinking they were missing an extra meal, in hot pursuit.
Hound pup with a bloody nose. Worse to come for it in later life!

I was soaked, mostly from dogs shaking water off. Very little weed was pulled out but the pups never once thought of making for the hills!
