After a hard morning running around on exercise I was nice and let them into the grassy field while I sunbathed. Heard a splashing noise and went to investigate, found them in the pond swimming with the fishes :D
Had they not made the water so muddy I'd have loved to have joined them :D

I'm rather pleased my darling, part hippo, polocrosse mare decided to have a dip without her rug on this time

LOVE SUNSHINE! :D

That's great :D

Although a perfect place for a horse who won't be caught to stand in the middle and go 'ner ner ner ner' :p

When I was a kid my pony would wade out to the middle of the farm pond in his field and do just that! If I waded in to get him he would roll, even in a rug, just for the badness! In the end I took to dragging him in, hosing him off regardless of the weather and tacking him up to ride! The pond was full of stinking mud and goodness knows what else, not pleasant especially when your darling pony is grey/white :D

Mine would love it too! She has to make do with a water trough instead.

Sadly the fields get terribly waterlogged when it rains so they have no end of puddles to splash in with the ducks. We also have springs at the top of one of the hills which has given us a knee deep bog, Have a cracking picture of the mare having a lay down in the pond black with mud on one side when she went for a dip in the mud

Bring your mare up for a holiday, it's like a disney waterpark here :D
