It's run in accordance with the rules and regulations of the SHB (GB). But I cant find any reference to it in their rules?

It's a qualifier for Scottish Showing Champs.

Well if you're showing under SHB(GB) rules - then it's a no. We asked about this as we have a 14 year old riding our horses at home and local level, both in showing, sj and x-c and she also rides our racehorses on the gallops, but for what we think is the safest discipline of them all - ie. showing - she isn't allowed to compete until she's 16. Is it just us - or do you think the rules should be changed?
