i have had a weird couple of days

i rode Frankie last night, and apart from a few minor things he was an angel! i left the yard feeling really positive that we had turned a corner and i can actually ride after all. i can be very self critical you see.

then i rode him tonight and he was good for about the first 20 minutes, then after the floodlights turning off on and on again

(he didn't flinch!) it all went downhill. not reeeeaaally badly, just not stopping went asked, not being soft and not using his back end or bending correctly. i know that 80% of it is me, but im so frustrated because i have been riding him now since April and i would like to think that he has improved by now.

another thing that is frustrating is that i did have lessons weekly on him which was great because i tend to get 'lost' and that probably doesn't help my confidence!

going to see someone (mmm hopefully she'll be there!) about lessons so wish me luck - hopefully i'll start having them regularly again soon.

im not riding him now until Tuesday so lets hope he's a good boy then. agh i hate nights like this, it's all i can think about! im so paranoid that im going to ruin him for life

we all get these days - just got to try and not beat yourself up about it - go for a hack and have a blow out at the weekend, always puts a smile on my face!!!

well he won't be hacked out until nest weekend.....im going away this weekend and can't hack out in the week - too dark by the time i get to the yard!

i know even really good riders get days like that......i am just so paranoid! i think i'm crap have the time which is silly because i know he can go well, just last night we didn't work! and it was all i could think about
