I posted about wanting to find a freelance groom last week, and looked at the links that were given to me, but nothing was suitable. Iam now desperate as have found out that I have to go away from Friday night to Tuesday morning, and whilst I am sure the livery yard owner will help me out, I don't want to keep asking her. I have put a few wanted ads about, but not had any response!

Yup, tried yard and groom, horsedates, adtrader, horsemart and the British grooms website. Everyone is either too far away to make it worth their while, or has a full client list atm. I don't mind paying a decent wage. I would even consider a sharer (4 days a week) to pay no costs for sharing my horse, (who is an advanced dressage schoolmaster) but able to look after my other two horses when I am away (not very often, about once a month, and only for two or three days at the most).

Contact local RC's they usually have an email distribution list and could send round an advert. Also put adverts up in local tack shops.
