What commands do you give to your dogs when doing agility? Particulary the weaves. Some people say 'weave, weave, weave' but you can't really say that quickly enough! Just wondering really. Thanks:)

Weave becomes a high pitched "weweweweweWE!" noise for me.

The rest I use are standard except for "HERE!" which means come in to me and look at what I'm telling you to do instead of thundering off to the more obvious bit of equipment in front of you. :p

"weave" as he goes into the 1st one and then he does the line. He doesn't need reminding!

Other than that I say "on" for the dog walk and A frame, "tunnel" for, well the tunnel (!) and "Harley" and "here" when he's run on and I need his attention back!

Less is more in my trainers book!

(had our 2nd comp booked for Sat and he's hurt his toe again! :( boo!!)

GSD' also had "ENOUGH" which was stop dicking about and stop it NOW :p

I don't think it matters too much Nagling, just pick words that are logical to you :)

I say "weave weave weave" to Dylan

"h'up" with a point means this here (get on/ over), not sure why but it just happened and it worked.

I will go "through" when we find a tunnel to play with. 4 more months and we can start Dylan properly at a local class :) :)

We use:
'Tunnel' - tunnel
'Walk on' - Aframe/Dog Walk
'Incy' - slow down for contacts
'Seesaw' - seesaw
'Out' - go away from me over a jump
'Push' - go away from me to the other side of a jump
'In' - come towards me over a jump
'Pull' - come towards me around a jump
'Weave' - weaves (repeat throughout weaves in high pitched squeaky voice!'

Left and right are also very important to back up arm signals.

Wise up and woaah are often heard too!

"Get on" - Send on over a long line of obstacles
"Wait" - To stop him flying off the end of seesaws lol (The Collie only, Russell has more sense!)
"On It" - Contacts
"Walk on" - Onto a-frame, dog walk, seesaw
"Away" - Go away from me round an obstacle
"Wewewewewewe" - Weave, in a high pitched voice lol

I have that one too, only it it for general use as well!

I have:
wait (obviously!)
OK - you may move
over - for jumps
Tan! - I need your attention, I use hand signals a lot so I use this so he knows I'm giving a hand signal
back - do a u turn!
A frame/dogwalk/seesaw/tunnel - self explanatory!
woah - stop on the contacts
GoGoGoGo! - run on down a line.
Weave! - I don't do the weaveweaveweave thing!

We have (probably too many):

Wait
Go/ok
Left and right directionals
turn and wrap (for left and right wing wraps) otherwise we get oil tanker turns
Get up - aframe
walk it - dog walk
Sees - seesaw
go on
touch - contact
yes - contact release
tunnel
go weave
tyre though i often say tunnel accidently
Isla here! - to call off something

I think thats all, though 'move your backside' gets used she's not going as fast as I know she can!
