My parents have a two year old labradoodle, who I walk quite a bit.....he is quite typical of the cross I think in that he is prone to naughtiness!! Very clever but lacks focus, not particularly loyal (ie adores everyone, but no-one in particular), very interested in other dogs and his recall skills are a constant battle.
I think a big part of the problem is that he's too clever for his own good. He is quite big - bigger than a normal lab, with long legs - pretty fast, brilliant swimmer and jumps anything in his way (garden fence, stable doors on ocassion....)
So am thinking of taking him to agility classes. I've never been before - tips? Is he likely to be a suitable dog? Will it help improve his focus? Is one class a week enough?
Any general advice would be appreciated
