I must admit I have no idea in this field!

My friend has a little gypsy cob. Bought him as 18 months old 18 months ago, so was thinking he was 3. However, his 3yo teeth have not come through yet so YO was saying he was either 2 or a very late foal.

On basic research sounds like they come through 3 - 3 1/2 years so you wouldn't expect him to have them yet?

Passport says he was born 1st April 2010...

What do you mean by 3 year old teeth?

I don't really have any idea either. All I know is that if you look on search engines, the front teeth caps should drop out at about 2.5 years. My three year old (passported three next month) only lost his last month - and proudly showed me!

I think they get there first grown up teeth (like our front ones) at 2 - 2 1/2 and then their second ones around at 3 1/2.

So the little coblet has is first ones but still has babies the next ones around, if that makes sense.

But doesn't sound like he should have them yet anyway if he's just 3?
