Just started my girl on this, BUT.. I bought seeds not powder, the recommended dose on the bag says feed 15g per day, but other sellers say on their websites to feed 30g - confused! How much do you feed if you use the seeds?

When I try a new herb, I do a review of the scientific literature and see what their dosage rates were, in mg/kg. Agnus castus has a lot of info derived from studies in dairy cattle, so if you can't access horse studies, I think that would be a better comparison than say the studies in rats!

My bag of seeds says 25gms a day so I'm feeding that, but no idea if its right or wrong! I'm sure it wouldn't do any harm to feed a bit too much, but probably won't work if you feed too little, so I'd go for the higher dose to be sure of getting an effect. :)

Thanks both - Fransurrey, I do that too - sadly I can't seem to find anything much about seed feeding as it mainly appears to be sold as powder. I suppose I could grind the seeds and measure the equivalent, though it might be time consuming it's probably quicker than searching endlessly on google, lol!
