I have recently found a nice 17yo girl who will be part loaning my horse at weekends. Now, i intend to write up an agreement, as i have previously with full loans. However, since she is under 18 would it be in my best interest to have the agreement between myself and the loaners mother? Can anyone think of anything i could include in the document that may not be something that would come up in a full loan agreement?

I won't have an input but I would like to wish you luck and hope it all goes really well.

I don't think you can have a legally binding contract with someone under 18 so you would need to have this signed by her mum. The BHS should have a sample template that'll give you a good idea of what should be included.

Our boys owner used the BHS template agreements for both part and full loaning. Might be worth adding something for her parents to sign, but not sure how you would word it sorry!
