Agri/equi supplies west lothian - and electric fence q?

I need to replace the waterer in my field, and also want to put electric fencing up. However I'm struggling to find a supplier in West Lothian/South Lanarkshire area. I'm sure there are loads but don't know where

. Can anyone help. I know you can buy them online, but I'd rather not pay the postage!

Also - can any recommend a particular type of powerpack? It can't run off the mains, but ideally it would run off a large car battery, with a back up solar charger if possible. Has anyone used a solar charger, are they worth it?

It's amazing the things you don't know until you come off livery and have them at home

I'd recommend Gibb of Galston. They have a really good range of electric fencing and its quite reasonable.
