I think my mare is sensitive to both soya and alfalfa so looking for feed that helps build top line but won’t pile on weight or make her silly. She is barefoot so want a low starch and sugar feed, I don’t give a balancer currently. I know a lot of bare footers feed agrobs but this seems to be a good option? Anyone used or have any thoughts? Thanks

My soya intolerant and alfalfa intolerant horses (one of each) are doing great on grass nuts. The soya intolerant thin one has put on a load of muscle. They are also barefoot and both now rock crunching. Dengie grass nuts aren't low starch, though.

I feed equimins advance complete, pink mash and grass nuts. In your case I'd just drop the pink mash as its soya hull based. I used Emerald Green Meadow Magic which comes within the recommended sugar and starch levels.
