Woke up this morning see an update from a vegetarian friend who had put about jt macnamara falling when training for national being given thousands and if it had been the horse it would have just been shot.
How do people put a horse and a human life on same page- reason is out of the window

One of my favorites was from an animal rescue. They had a picture of a pony with a fake leg. All the comments, including from rescue, were of the tone that horses do not need to be shot when they break a leg. They can get a fake one. That owners are cruel and heartless. Well needless to say I'm now banned. I let rip.

I hope you commented on that actual FB post and arent just talking behind their back. Its a free world and people are allowed their say....... "I dont agree with what you say but Id die for your right to say it"...... (sorry, dunno where that quote comes from).

They drive me mad too,have blocked the worst ones. One ,I know personally,is huge pretends to be a veggie..but is`nt.She continually floods the threads with anti eating meat/racing/hunting(!) dog racing ...everything ..oh and farmers are as one cold hearted bloody murderers.Shame she was seen stuffing a huge beef sandwich in her mouth !

Yeh I agree - I just block posts from the ones you dont like the views of- they wont know, ur still their 'friend' they have a right to say what they like, but you arent forced to listen. You can just look at their page if you want to see how they are,......

Ahhh it's the time of year when I block posts from some people to save my own sanity There was one last year who shared a 'let's ban racing' petition link thingy on my wall because I like horses and so would want to sign it I tried to explain the consequences of banning racing as a whole but sadly it fell on deaf ears

Yes i did comment on it as it bugged me and i reported it as i actually found it very offensive to put the two on the same pedestal.
I have also blocked her posts now. We have argued about this since school normally i ignore it now as it never changes but speaking of someone injured just pushed me over the edge.
