Ah ha ha *catches breath* ha ha ha

I have made this suggestion to Henry, and this is the look I got...

Do you want the sad news? :p They are commonly used amongst the dog showing fraternity :D:D:D:D

Hence I do not, and never will, show dogs :D:D:D

Oi, we're going dog showing....does that mean I need one of these? :P Well ok it's Lurcher and Terrier showing....the judge is probaly going to be an old bloke in a flat cap with a pipe.....and it's in some field marked off with a bit twine..but, but, but.....it's almost worth it to turn up to Game Fair with Arch in one of those monstrosities!

Yes seen them many times! Not on a vizsla though I may add! :D
They are quite comical but actually I do favour using them, the alternative is that the dogs don't ever leave the house! (this happens) My friend has them for her am. cockers, it just means that muddy, wet or not they can still be real dogs and go and enjoy their daily romp in the woods. They do look very cute in them though, little american faces poking out are much cuter than that peed off poodle! :p :D

I definitely think you should get one, and you should wear 6 inch heels and loads of slap, just for giggles:D

I have to work with some of these people afterwards......otherwise it would be so worth it!

That, and I'd actually like to be allowed to beat again this season and reckon I might just get disowned!

Hey GH!! Missed you....in fact was just looking for you on FB (stalkerish I know..so sorry)!! By the way I am not a FB person so that failed miserably. Anyway good to have you back my dear. :D

If you go to Crufts or any big champ show on a wet day you will see loads of dogs in those suits, and of course the others who have curlers in their hair etc.

LMAO! :D

Actually all seriousness, I think everyone should use them to keep the doggies clean and that they should do human ones to keep all of us clean - and I'm typing this with a really straight, serious face ...................................................... NOOOOOOOOT!! lol :p

Erm, how do they go to the toilet? No mention of zip. Is it crotchless?

HUSH your mouth - everyone knows show dogs do not poop!

On another forum I frequent the latest thing is to protect spaniel ears from mud with homemade snoods fashioned from tights - I mean, why? Why? They're dogs, not dollies!

I pop there every so often to go to the working gundog bit, but then I see things like the snoods, or people referring to themselves as their dogs 'parent', and then I have to come away again before I start ranting and get labelled as a nasty hardnosed biatch:rolleyes:

I am sure I just heard my spaniel say something very rude!

If I took my two out in anything remotely resembling the stuff you guys have found so far my neighbours would p*ss themselves laughing. We have shooters living round here who would happily put me out of my misery!

Off to pick more dried mud out of cockers pads.....

I admit I did get mine a couple of fleeces *disclaimer* Pads has no coat and it's purely for drying off in the truck after a wet shoot whilst i'm in the pub!

They're not keen though :D

Oh alright then I will admit to two towelling dog coats....but they are purely for use at home behind closed doors after baths......*glances quickly all round and scuttles off*....

Weeeell... ok, Henry has a jumper too... but only for use indoors to save him getting all shivery when wet!:o:D
