I was at the yard yesterday and decided to give my 3yr old (nearly 4) who is on a break a really good groom and have some cuddles with her :) However although I have been fine for the first 3 weeks of her break not doing any work with her at all everyone was having their lessons last night and I was very very jealous! I really can not wait to crack on with her now and have written out a plan for bringing her back into work but have to wait till may! Luckily I have a lot of work to get on with so it should go quickly but I am finding the issue with having the youngest horse on a big yard is that we are so far behind everyone else and get left out a lot :( anyone else had this?

Aww but sometimes its nice having a youngster you just hang out with, low pressure. The time will fly by, I have hardly any time to ride at the mo! Come and ride mine if you like napping and road work haha!

I do love that too :) spend hours in her stable talking to her and it will be mostly groundwork in her first month back as well with some hacking as my mare also enjoys napping while hacking if in front or on her own put another horse in front of her and she will be perfect haha
