I looked after another liveries horse wednesday pm through til friday pm, when I went back to the yard around 11.30am today, said horse was untouched in his stable (has been on box rest) with no hay or water. I panic, thinking OMG was I meant to do him the weekend too?! Check my messages, and no I was right I'm not meant to be doing the weekend.
I can not leave him with nothing, so I fill him a haynet, pop in a breakfast/late lunch and fill water bucket. I text the owner (who is away at RC Camp) asking if her sharer is meant to be doing the horse. Whilst out on my hack I get a message saying her dad is suppose to be doing the horse and asking if he's ok
well he's better now I've fed & watered it!
When I return from my hack 3pm, I pop my head in to check. The horse has been mucked out (albeit badly), apparently her dad forgot he was meant to do the horse, but he has been up mucked out and given him a brush...and the horse should be ok now til tomorrow
Tell me I'm over reacting, slap me if I'm a drama queen! This horse is in 24/7 and will be seen to once in 48 hours
and thats ok?!
