Bear was shod on 6th of May, I haven't really ridden him since cos of my plaster, so had my plaster off on Tuesday so took it steady for a few days without riding. Decided to ride today as the rain cleared and I wanted to ride in my sexy Mountain Horse boots that cost me £80!!

And FFS Bear has lost a shoe ALREADY!!!
I was effing seething!! Ive txt the farrier but haven't heard back yet. GGGRRRR
This is the 3rd set in a row he's lost a shoe!

So I had to ride my Welsh A round the little block instead of a nice long hack, I wasn't amused. I love him but its not the same is it?! I got a really bad stitch cos he's so bloody bouncy and its tricky to rise to his little trot!
The good thing was that Bears saddle fits him! So I didnt have to ride on an uncomfortable little hard thing!

On a good note me and mate Mandy took Bertie out for his 1st walk and he was a little lamb! Pics are in PG.

I dont know, his feet are really good.
I wouldn't expect him to come out tomorrow but maybe Tues morning!
I really want to get back to normal with him now!!
I really miss riding!

Front shoe?
My horse had a session of losing front shoes and we ended up turning him out in over-reach boots usually just for the first week or 10days after being reshod to allow the shoes to bed in. The cheap ones from Libbys seemed to be adequate but every horse is different.

Bloody hell, I didnt expect him to come on a Sunday or a BANK HOLIDAY!!!
Everyones entitiled to a long weekend off! I text him today so that he can try and fit n in the WEEK.
