Ahhh, so that’s where all the tiny bits of card come from….

I just watched Bertie who was wandering purposefully go into the downstairs toilet, put his paw on the pedal of the little bin, and help himself to a toilet roll tube, which within seconds was shredded to tiny tiny bits, the tiny bits I keep finding everywhere and had no idea where on earth he was getting it from!
Quite a clever little move I thought 😂😂

Labs are amongst the cleverest, I think. Bumbles learned to open the door from about 8 months, simply by watching us. I regularly see him having a go at knob handles on doors - he knows they need to turn. A sliding bolt is absolutely no problem. I have seen him jump on the counter to open a high up cupboard where we keep the butter. His bin raiding skills are legendary.

So, you are now signed up for a lifetime of second guessing the dog.

We had to turn the door handle upside down, on the door into the kitchen, as the rotters opened it with ease😁
My neighbour has done this! It’s too much for
My brain forget about the dogs, I get stuck every time 😂
Goose shoved his entire head into my sweatshirt pocket this morning and gleefully extracted the empty loo roll I'd fetched down to put in the recycling. He was delighted with himself, dozens of teeny bits of soggy carboard everywhere.
It’s surprising how much card is involved in one tube 😂

Mr P suggested one and my reply was “what with Bertie around” I think it would be sat on, flipped over and generally the best toy ever 😂
Good point! It might be more hassle than it's worth.

My pom attacks the normal vacuum whenever it's out. It tends to steal his carrot. Or the little half chewed up bits he leaves around.

He gets so offended by it, so goes and collects all his toys puts them in a pile and guards them from the vacuum, then attacks it for daring to get too close. Full on angry wasp growls out of him and everything!

Brilliant 😂 Bertie is a bit scared of the regular vacuum, as is Spud our older lab.
The two tinies, I imagine like yours born and brought up in a house so used to it are not scared in the slightest.
I love the angry wasp line 😂

I can't blame Bertie or Spud, it is rather loud!

He does sound exactly like an angry wasp, getting increasingly more high pitched and waspy the closer it gets.

Then he's all teeth and growls then retreats to guard his pile again.

He's actually not that aggressive at all, only when the vacuum is out!
