ok here goes;
1. sort out my naughty 6yr old - Windsor
2.qualify for Trailblazers Chmpionships in July
3. qualify for David Broome Championships in Aug
4. qualify for UK Chasers final in Aug
D - to get him back into work, and going well and correctly. to improve our flat work and start aiming for the height i want to jump him. To at least make it to 1 sj competition (unaff) by the summer. Finally hopefully get some xc training in.
S - To start breaking him to drive.
H - Do some handling work with him as he is very nervous and doesnt really like being led.
The two little one also to loose some more weight and get some on D.
Me - to not break any bones this year and stay on D's back!!!!
To get my horse back in work after getting to the bottom of her lameness at last after months of box rest, and hopefully get her back into a field so she can be a horse again.
Keep madam sound, and then take on our 1st novice dressage test (went lame on the morning of our first attempt), and hopefully doing well at Broomies in March, do more whp & m&m with the nutter, apart from that - staying sound, staying on and having lots of fun!
To carry on improving and get our contact and outline more consistent so that dressage marks improve, though this can only happen if he stays sound so fingers crossed x
* save £ for Stage 4 and SM exam and take them
* set off with my riding academy project
* keep going towards getting better and better in what I do
* advance all my riders' skills and enjoyment of the sport
* compete if I find time/chance/money
For horse:
*rehabilitate him as much as possible so he can cope athletically with at least moderate workload.
Nothing special im afraid just to hack more than i do in winter and keep my 17 year old mare, healthy and hope to keep her as long as i can sound . No competeing for me not into any sort of competition.
Would like to have another successful showing season with Genie, and in a perfect world get a Champion rosette, going one better than last year's Reserve. Would also love to qualify her for SOMETHING.
