Air Ambulance and VAT ( also in CR)

Currently the Air Ambulance has to pay VAT on fuel, but the life boat service has been exempt since 1977. This petition asks the Government to give the Air Ambulance the same exemption. Please sign and pass on if you agree.

It is the same for charity groups like Ambulance first responders. we have tried to get them to change it but they won't
They say that if they do it for one charity they have to do it for all so won't do it

Is that the cars Soulfull, didn't realise that they have to pay as well. It does amaze that the lifeboats don't have to pay when although I know we are surrounded by water and are used, I would off thought that it's a lot more likely that the air ambulance or first responder would be used by more off us. Mind you I suppose that's why, they know which they make more money or loss less money on, if that makes sense ?
