Has any one
Real experience taking the co2 canister
For air vests / jackets on to aircraft
I primarily use easy jet
But easy jet suppose to have a max of 50gram cartridges per person
Most jackets I see are 50 grams plus
I do a lot of traveling and looking to buy / bring a air vest with me ?
Just unsure of the answer/ other peoples experience?

I know about lifejackets which are pretty much the same thing. Regs changed a few years ago to cover the 50g+ canisters. Most airlines have their own rules on their websites and it's worth printing these off or having them accessible on your phone, just in case you meet a jobsworth. We've taken lifejackets in hold luggage, with the canister detached, on Ryanair and EJ flights. Possibly BA in the past although I can't swear to that. I don't think we've ever taken one in hand luggage, so not sure about that.
