Reposted: Attention all dog owners in and around Reigate, Surrey! Just found this on my dogs paw- tiny little circular lesion that she was licking constantly. Being the paranoid vet I am, I brought her in to check her bloods and turns out she's got high kidney values consistent with "Alabama rot". Check your dogs and don't ignore tiny little ulcers! Please share!

Oh dear, I walk my dog in and around Reigate. Anyone know where this poor dog picked up the disease please - Reigate Heath, Priory, Hill or Earlswood Lakes?. Hope this poor dog is on the mend as it would appear she got treatment quickly. Get well soon little one.

If you click on the link it takes you to their fb page, maybe you can ask on there. It was a good job this dog belonged to a vet who got him treatment quickly but I cant help thinking a ordinary person wouldnt have been too concerned and probably treated it themselves.
