Albion Dressage Saddle

How much would you expect to pay for an Albion 'Style' dressage saddle the older version of the SL, immaculate condition, only catch serge underneath?!

I have a "normal" one brought from a saddler and paid alot more than £400! You should be pleased!!

definate bargain! , i have a albion legend 5000 dressage saddle i need to sell & i'm hoping to get in excess of £400 & have seen them on saddles direct at £550

I suspect the reason you got it cheap is the fact that is has serge panels and not leather. I have not seen a saddle like that for years. Either it is very old, or was made specially for someone.

Either way, it sounds like you got a nice saddle for a small amount of money.

Thats interesting, i have never seen a saddle with serge and dont think she feels any different underneath it. I rang albion to make sure it was'nt stole as soo cheap and gave them the serial number and was advised it was made in 1996, but not sold until 2000 but obvioulsy has had light use as not even stirrup leather marks! Do they even make serge anymore even is requested?
