This week I have been trying a K2 jump and aboslutely love it except the price and the weight of it but it is so comfy and my leg position for flat work and jumping had improved 3 trillion %
Does any one have experience of both of these saddles as I am interested whether the GP
would have a similar effect on my lower leg?
Or does any one have any ideas of a similar type of saddle for less money as TBH I think £1200 for a non adjustable saddle in this day and age is a lot of money especially as I have 2 horses?

Any ideas please ?

I've had 2 K2 Jump saddles and found them really comfy and nice to ride in.

Can't comment on the K2 GP as I haven't ridden in one but I generally wouldn't go for a GP as they're neither here nor there!! (Lucinda Green is particularly scathing of them! (GP saddles in general - not K2's!))

I currently have a K2 jump for sale as it no longer fits my horse..... ;)

I have the K2 jump and I use it most of the time as I feel very secure. I had a GP saddle before, but not an Albion and I didn't give the same feel at all. I bought mine secondhand - worth searching for - but they are popular!! :):)

I brought my Albion K2 Jump second hand and think its amazing I was looking at GP and Jump saddles and found it the best I paid just under £600

i've got both. got my k2 jump off ebay for £650 and i love it - so so secure. i use the GP for hacking and i have jumped a bit in it, but i much much prefer the k2 jump. the gp is just like any other gp whereas the k2 is magic for keeping legs controlled.

definatley go for the jump, gp's imo are useless they are neither one nor the other, and K2 jumps are perfectly good enough to do flatwork in :)

Can only comment on k2 jump but it's a fab saddle! I had one years ago but sadly sold always regretted luckly my saddle fitter had a second hand one which fitted perfectly my youg guy think was £600 ish! I really love it so so secure in it!!

I have had the K2 jump for some years now and really like it for both SJ and XC. However I do not find it comfortable to hack in as it naturally puts me in a more forward position which makes my back hurt after about an hour so I tend to hack out in a Wintec GP which I picked up for about £200 on ebay.

I also have the earlier Albion Legend 5000 XC and always very secure in that saddle when jumping too.

By and large I am not a fan of GP saddles as they don't give me the security I want when jumping.
