Has anyonegot either of these? I cant decide which one to go for... Is it true the Albions come up small i.e wide would be more like M/W?

I've had both, liked both but they are different.
The Albion is slightly flatter seat and less blocky.
I don't find the albion come up small, also bear in mind they do 2 different fittings to suit TB/warmbloods.

You really do just have to try before you buy whatever saddle you go for.

Hi
I've just been trying the Albion SLK against the Suzannah, liked both but my own preference is the Albion, can't comment on the K2 although I have the K2jump and love it.
The Albions in my limited experience on the dressage side have been on the smaller side width wise, the first SLK I tried was a wide and I wasn't comfortable about the fitting, then tried wide Black Country and Wide Suzannah and I'm now trying an XW SLK which fits perfectly and is the one I'm probably going to go with and I would class my horse as a true wide! (ID cob type!)
Hope that helps, but I think you've just got to keep trying and what suits one doesn't always suit the next:p

Thanks, how did you both find the knee rolls on the suzannah? I like the bigger knee roll and the suzannah's looks bigger then the K2?
I think im swaying more to the suzannah as the Albions are quite heavy, plus my lad has always had Ideal's so i know they are a good fit for him. x

Just that there is a massive difference between the K2 dressage and the SLK (and not just in price).. I loved the SLK but it didn't fit my ID x TB but had been perfect on my TB x WB. Had to go to an SL initially which I didn't like nearly as much. Ended up going made to measure in the end which was slightly less than a new SLK (also meant I could play around with knee rolls, leather, seat etc). Jumping had a similiar problem and ended up with a K2 jump saddle because absolutely nothing else would fit. Think mw horse with cob middle and massive shoulder. Anything else would impede his shoulder...Also when looking at your saddles look at the panels underneath as they make a huge difference to the overall fit.
