I'm getting a jumping saddle but have a choice between Albion K2 and Kontrol - just wondered what people's experience of them was? Any preferences? I've ridden both and they felt similar (but to be honest, I tried so many, I've kind of got 'saddle white out'!). Advice please!

I can't believe you thought they were similar! For me 2 completely different saddles and very much down to personal preference.

Kontrol much more of a close contact pure jump, whereas K2 very forward cut with hold you in blocks but also more comfy if you are wanting a saddle to hack in too.

I have a K2 GP - borrowed it from my saddler whist one was being made to order for my horse and liked it so much I brought that one instead!

Never ridden in the jumping one, but know 2 people that have one and both love them and look very secure in their positions in them.

I had the Kontrol which I loved for hacking hunting jumping etc. It fitted me wonderfully.
Horse HATED it. Both those saddles have a very round tree, more suited to riders round bottom(!!) and not the horses flat back.
On a plus note - lovely looking saddle with lovely leather.
