Albion KB Double bridle.. Can I use as a snaffle??

In my haste at finding a secondhand brown Albion KB bridle on eBay, I placed a bid and won, I was so excited by my find I failed to see it was a double - doh!!

Can I just take the slip head off and use it as a snaffle bridle?

I dont know whether its got a removable slip head or not. If it has great, just take it off. If not what I've done with my double that has a fixed slip head, is to remove the extra cheek pieces and put the extra straps into the keepers on the remaining cheek pieces. Not sure if that makes sense or not?! But it looks very neat and no one would know it was a double not a snaffle

Yes they do, you can easily use as a single

Thanks Leo Walker, that does make sense.
I got it for a very reasonable price so if I really had to I could take the the headpiece and 1 pair of cheek pieces off and buy the snaffle head piece.
I hope one day we will be in a double! If she can stay sound and well for that long.....
