Albion saddle - does anyone want to swap?

I lost my horse 18 months ago and am on the lookout for a cob so would like to swap my saddle for something wider if anyone's interested?

It's an Albion Kontrol gp, 17.5",medium, havannah in very good condition. It's stamped LH and has a cut back head that would suit high withers. My horse is the chestnut in my avatar and was IDxTB (more like a TB) with high withers. It has a really deep seat. I've been in touch with Albion and they can only alter saddles one width size different which wouldn't be enough really to fit the kind of horse I'm looking for.

I'd swap for:
* Albion dressage or gp, 17.5", Wide
* Bates dressage, 17.5" with changeable gullet

My saddler values my saddle at £500 so if you have something that you think I'd be interested in or want to see some photos of my saddle, please PM me. If you are local to me I can bring it for you to try on your horse but I'm not a qualified saddle fitter so it would be up to you to decide if it fit your horse or not.

Have a look on saddles direct. They usually have a good selection, and will post up to 3 for you to try.

Forgot to add, I'd wait till you've got the horse before you get an alternative ....

Thanks Millimoo. I've spoken to Saddles Direct but with being a saddle dealer, they offered me a low price for mine and want quite a lot for theirs so I'd end up putting money towards for something that's not quite as good.

Yes it is probably wiser to wait until I get another horse but then I'm going to have to swap it in with the local saddlery, who again don't give much as they need to put a mark up on it.
