I hvae wanted an Albion jump saddle for ages and have finally tried one, and there just doesn't seam to be anywhere for my legs to go. Has anyone else found this? My friend says it is due to my rubbish jumping position and that I should be sticking my toes out and pushing my knees up into the thigh blocks? Then the saddle should feel better.

Not sure what to do now, do I buy a saddle that doesn't feel secure and try to ride in a position that feels alien to me 'cos it is correct?

I know a lad who is nearing 6ft with an Albion Jumping saddle, he hasn't had any problems with it as far as I know. maybe get a saddler out and get them to watch you jump in it? They may be able to either tell you whats going wrong or reccoment you a saddle that is better suited to your style?
Sorry its not much help

i have an albion k2 jump, its the most comfy secure saddle ive sat on! saddles are sooo personal and what i like my friends quite often dont, for there own very good reasons!! I would make sure you have really given this saddle a good trial and also try others and compare! Dont buy something your not comfy in! To add Toes pointing forward not out is what Pat Burges told me!!!

Maybe you just need the next size up? I have ridiculously long legs, and my knees poke out over the front of most saddles when I go up to jumping length

saddler recommended an 18" which does help.

Definetly try a bigger seat!

I am 176 cm tall and ended up with 19" (previously had 18") in my new Albion to allow for now slightly bigger bum and creakier bones

Absolutely love the saddle though - can finally sit to (most of) his bucking fits!
