Albion saddles

I have an Albion K2 jumping saddle and I love it! One thing to note is that the leather is very very smooth, so can be quite slippy. I am used to it but I think when you firat sit in it you feel a bit insecure. However mine is about 3-4 years old.

But my saddler came out this week and as suspected I need to change them to wider ones now Beans has shoulders

So I have to part with them

*cries*

Ooh, so out of interest what size might you be wanting

cause I now have two (one GP, one jumping) for sale

(And ditto about the seats - but a seatsaver makes them perfect

I have two SLKs, one is the regular one (for Grace) and the other is the Ultima (for Hannah). I love them, they are incredibly comfortable to ride in, put my leg in a good position and they fit my horses beautifully.

Well that's what I would have thought. And my saddler tells me that is certainly the case with the wider sizes, and that she can sell them all day long - hence I shall probably have to buy brand new ones *cries* because she won't have a second hand k2 in the size I now need *humph*

But *apparently* the narrower sizes aren't in such demand

In fact, I'm in a bit of a dilemma over my saddles right now

Might have to make a new post about it...

Mmm, mines medium fit, I was going to sell it and advertised it on my website, that's when I had a call from someone looking for one and she told me about ebay.

I hope you manage to find one, there used to be a really good website where I got mine from but I can't seem to find it, I think it was Olney saddlers?

Have had a K2 Jump and curretnly have a K2 GP, they are great saddles and hold their value well so if ever you have to replace if you change horses etc, you will normally get a good price. I bought a second hand K2 Jump for £500, had it three years and sold it on Ebay for £425 in less than 24 hours..... They are comfortable and superb quality and a friend has a dressage SLK and is really pleased with it too. Hope this helps

I have always had K2 jumping saddles I sold my N/M for £600 on ebay and I sold my M/W for the same price and I bought another M one for £600 also, they really hold their value. We find them teriffic for jumping in and almost everyone at our yard has one.
