Seen a lot of talk on feeding ALCAR for PSSM, but has anyone fed it only to aid with weight loss? And, for those that do feed it, is there anywhere cheaper to source it than from ForagePlus?

I’d search and see if can find pure human grade any cheaper.

1kg bags from human sports supplement suppliers are usually cheapest. You should be able to find it on eBay.

I haven't fed it for weight loss, but it is a stimulant so it might work.

Bulk powders sells it - Google for a discount code first because they've always got offers on. Body builder website but it's all the same stuff.

Tried it for PSSM years ago and turned the horse really spooky and not in a good way

Probably did a fortnight the first time I tried it. Attempted to add it back in a few times in the early years but she got very explosive. It was the go-to product for PSSM then.
