Having been watching Horsepower on Amazon prime and them following her on it, I wondered why they were selling her but guess this shows why!
 
I guess I'm just a bit surprised she'll stay in training. However there are plenty of lucrative races where she's going, and they should be able to recoup some of their investment before she goes to Frankel. Good to have your back covered a bit I guess in case she turns out infertile like Lady Buttons.
 
I'm slightly disappointed but not surprised that she is going back into training.

Not at all surprised about the price tag though. She is a multiple Group 1 winning daughter of No Nay Never.

At that price would they already have scanned to ensure she ovulates? It doesn't mean she can hold it, of course. Is embryo transfer allowed in racing?

No embryo transfer, no AI. She will have had some scans done, but there have been plenty of mares who look normal who have been impossible to get in foal.
 
I always feel sad at the mares sales and also the foal sales. I know it is how it has to be but the little foals are so young and for the mares when you see the racing staff posting pictures of them and then taking them to the sales.
