alcohol in water

so went to fill up my horses water buckets in the field and i get the water out of the next fields automatic water bathtube and there was a bottle of cider in the tub.

know i realise that one bottle of cider in a bath tub may not kill a horse but why did someone feel the need to put it there? there is a lane that runs next to it but there is no way it was just coincidance that they threw it over their shoulder and it landed in the water.

Id say it was probably just lazy people who didnt give a second thought about dumping it.

it was empty and probably thrown in empty but just seemed really rude
