Aldi ski jackets - anyone tried them?

Kids stuff was ok last year, although used on snow not endless wet. The adult trousers weren't as robust as normal ski stuff but were ok for me.

I have last years one and a friend has the year before a, they have been waterproof and are very warm and comfy- I like how they have an inner but that you do up at bottom so keeps drafts out but still covers your bum!! Haha

I have one! It's going on four years old and still waterproof, nice and warm. Would recommend them for horsey winters :D

I bought the ski trousers a couple of years ago and did use them up a mountain as that's where the yard was. They had me sweating they kept me that warm, no rips either. Haven't had to use them again sadly since returning to sea level with the horse. Although might this year, it's looking like a cold one.

Their ski jackets are very good. The zip on last year's one has just failed but it was worn everyday through the winter. I went this morning and luckily I asked as they had forgotten to put the adults out, so I managed to get one. They were sold out by the time I got through the check out,!

:o Looks like that's on my agenda tomorrow then - luckily I'm no longer a medium so have a chance of finding one :)

I picked up some stuff today. The jackets come up quite small so got a size 14 so I can put a jumper and my body protector under it at work. I am a size 10 in reality! I've not tried the trousers yet but again went bigger and got a 12. I love the neck warmer/snood things! Scarves without the bulk! I live in them in winter!

I have one from a few years ago and its really good. Its my winter yard coat and has got seriously manky and always washes well. Only downside is that I find the hood not great when its truly tipping it down but you can't go wrong with the price.

I have one that's about four years old and its AAMMAZING, omg love it, so warm and breathable and waterproof, I've washed it loads of times and still comes out well. Bought another last year in their sale for like £20 for when the first one dies (no sign yet), then the other day I was in *another brand name mountain wear shop* and they looked to be selling the EXACT same jacket, seemed to be the same material and everything just with their logo on, for £90 and in their sale at £60! Charlatans.
