As MdeM leads such a busy life and is off out partying this evening, she has asked me to let you all know how she went today.

Well, Ernie seems none the worse after his kick from *Bad* Squeaky yesterday. The dressage was rather *fast* very similar to Squeaks yesterday, personally i think its to do with riding all these race horses!
But none the less she scored a creditable 35 which put her half way through the pack.

The Sjing they just rolled one pole, which MdeM holds her hands up and says was her fault.

Then to the fun bit, the XC and she is happy to report that he was a complete MACHINE across country.
She says she had the best time ever, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Whilst walking around she def felt that the Intermediate course was within their capabilities, although I could have told her that

She has no idea of time penalties as its been ages since shes ridden at Novice. So just waiting results to go up on BE, however, she was laying 7th with 10 horses still to run.

So full steam ahead this week, she has the 2nd part of the Lucinda Green xc clinic and then Gatcombe OI on sunday.

Thats fab!! Partying???!! She shouldnt have time with her string of horses to keep busy!!

Glad she had fun, and that dressage sounds v good, esp if theres lots of room for improvement.

Hope so. going to gatcombe next week to groom/help her and Sarah Jane so will try and remember camera.

re. the dressage, not sure what to do.. both of them came out soo full of beans, i hope it's just a spring time/first time on grass thing!!

ETS.. i went climbing tonight!! not bad for someone with a trapped nerve in my left arm from the whiplash (car crash).. my physio has the tech. to rebuild me tho haha.

Ooo, I bet you're excited!! Came as a shock when I read this report after seeing him in H&H at the end of last year I didn't even know your parents had let you have the ride....day dreaming again you see!

Any plans for a 3day?

I'm still in shock too.. but as far as dad is concerned he's still for sale

if someone comes along and shoves a cheque book in is face, he's gone

(as is everything i ride i guess, as long as we don't own it in the first place)

someone has been muttering about buying a half share in him for me to keep the ride for ages now.. but nothing seems to have happened about it.. i'm not too sure how to follow things like that up either, i mean i can't exactly ring up and ask

But yeah, if i still have the ride, i'll aim for a CCI**.

Oh I hope they do, that would be great, hmm I see what you mean, would be difficult to approach them. How about inviting them to an event to see him compete? Might refresh their memory
