Hello,

Has anyone had lessons with either and opinions please good bad indifferent or pm me please! are they only interested in serious competitive types or rather patient (sp) with novices?!

thanks

Hi, I haven't had experience of either of them but Alex does vidoes on horseheros and seems to be pretty good at explaining what he's doing and works his horses in a way that makes sense, it might be worth watching some of them? :)

I used to keep The Welsh Cob at their yard...I had lessons with Alice :) I would recommend her but shes a bit pricey for me now I've moved :( Certainly not just for the serious comp rider. I was just starting out when I had lessons with her, she brought both me and the horse on very well :) and she didn't take any of his rubbish!

Never had lesson with Alex (as I don't jump) but I always hear good things, and as for his riding ability...I've never met anyone who has more stickability than him!!

thanks trendy,
thats really helpful. my horse is quite the mick taker and I def need someone who can help but is not afraid of novice horses and at times - riders lol!!
cheers

Yes he was very encouraging and able to say what I did well and what was not so good without sounding like he was saying you're rubbish!! He pushed us a little bit but not too much, and at the time I was on a green horse and didn't have much confidence myself so it was just what I needed.

Thanks fihunt very helpful! So anyone else with any experience with peternells?
Seems to me everyone speaks very highly of them !!
Thavks everyone!
